Things Kids Who Grew Up Ugly Will Understand

1.) Having to be funny so people would keep you around

You were always the "funny, quirky" kid in your group of friends

2.) This scenario

Person: *looks at you and your crush* "You guys would be cute together!"
Crush: "Her? Eww."
You:

3.) So you never told anyone who your crush was for fear of further rejection

4.) No photo's from you aged 13-18 exist (you've found them and burned  them all)

There are no words.
(I had to scour the pits of hell to find this BTW)

5.) IF there were photo's of you they were taken via webcam or really bad quality cameras to blur the ugly

6.) When you managed to get a good photo, it went EVERYWHERE

We're talking bebo, MSN, MySpace etc...

7.) You were forever the 3rd wheel

You were useful for taking couple photos and keeping guard while your BFF went up an alley to shift some young lad.

8.) When someone complimented you, you instantly questioned it

9.) You experimented with your look.every.single.day

And reeeeeally got into that Scene Kid phase

But from all them bad (and missing) photos and the incredibly awkward transition from a teen to an adult, you learn how important a personality is - not just in you but in others too. And now we fly af too 😉👍
