πŸ’ Valentine's Gift List for Her πŸ’ // Wishlist

Personally, I like Valentine's Day but I do get why some people despise the holiday. It is a materialistic day and I do think you shouldn't need a holiday to celebrate your love for your partner but what holiday isn't that way these days? You only have to pop into Tesco and they're celebrating something - usually about two months in advance. They have Easter eggs on display already, enough said. (I'll take a Kinder Surprise one if you're offering)

Despite all that, to me Valentine's Day is a great way for couples who for whatever reason - maybe they both work conflicting hours or they might have kids, may not have the opportunity to express that love as often as they'd like. Valentine's Day is just like a little reminder to tell you that you should show your loved one...well, a bit of love. Even if you're single this Valentine's Day, then be your own Valentine and love yourself (get your mind out of the gutter!).

Whatever your relationship status, I've compiled a list of the perfect gifts for her.

Lingerie

Lidl's Esmara Lingerie Set

Bra €7.99, Pants €5.99
Sexy knickers in Lidl?! I thought I'd never see the day! What I'm even more amazed at it is the collection - which includes bra/pants sets, kimonos and slips - it's actually lovely. I've felt the fabric (I couldn't buy any seeing as the bloody size 8/10 bandits must have been in before me!) and they're good quality with the lace appendages not feeling scratchy on the skin. Well done Lidl!

Penneys

Penney's never fail to disappoint this time of year and this year's selection is testament to that. Bang on trend yet again!

Bralette €8, thong €4

Agent Provocateur (www.agentprovocateur.com)/ Ann Summers (www.annsummersireland.ie)

The holy grail of lingerie. And with that comes with a hefty price tag for both companies - AP being the more expensive of the two. Check out the websites for the entire collections that offer a combination of modest and risque sets.

Bra €160, Pants €135 (available in thong €120)

Bodysuit €39.75
Perfume

Dolce (Rose Excelsa)

Not straying to far from the original Dolce scent, the slightly more feminine Rose Excelsa, is the scent of spring and lasts surprisingly long considering the light fragrance.

Price starts from €66 (30ML)
Georgio Armani's Si (Rose)

A limited edition of the cult classic Si, the Rose edition still packs a punch. The scent is more floral than the original Si but doesn't stray so far that it's unrecognisable. Lingers, but in the best way.

Prices start from €80 (50ML)

Body Shop's Smoky Rose (EDP)

One of the most sensual scents I have ever smelt. The type of perfume you'll smell off someone as they walk past and wonder what they're wearing. The tobacco ingredient can give the perfume a bit of a punch initially but spray it on the inner wrist and let it settle.

Prices start from €15 (30ML)
Chanel Allure

You  cannot go wrong with Chanel and the Allure is no different. I find the EDT of the version a lot more wearable for the younger age group but if she likes something a little stronger, go with the EDP.

Prices start from €73 (50ML) EDT

Jewellery

Jewellery can be tricky to buy for someone else because everyone's tastes differ. However, the classic look of the Cluse watches and the delicate designs have proven popular to all woman. Price-wise and considering their popularity, they are reasonable. And some of the watches come with removable straps so you can change up the look without forking out for a new watch, genius!

Prices start from €89.95

Far Fetched Accessories (www.farfetchedaccessories.ie)

Beautifully crafted jewellery pieces at incredibly prices. An Irish-grown company too, they do jewellery for every occassion. They also stock new pieces often so you get a great variety of bits.

Necklace €24.95

Folli Follie

My local jewellers (Tadgh O' Flynn) stock this collections and I love the shades of their gold and rose gold jewellery. My all-time favorite? The orbit bracelet (see below)

Half-bracelet €85
Handbags

New Look

For me, New Look smash it every season. They are also the king of structured bags and quality is always amazing and they last long. They also have cute backpack-shaped bags; perfect for someone who likes having a bag but hates having it slung on their arm all day.

Bag €24.99
River Island

If you were a teenage girl between 2011-2015 you had a RI bag, with the matching purse and you felt.like.the.baddest.bitch. I don't know if it's because I'm older now so I wouldn't be into teenage trends but it seems like the RI bag and handbag trend has died. However, their bags are still gorgeous and high quality.

Bag €100

YSL

If a man buys you a YSL bag, marry him.

€1,490

Camera

Olympus PEN Lite E-PL3

The ultimate present for a girl who has an interest in posting make-up videos or vlogging. The Olympus Pen Lite has received incredible reviews all round for it's picture quality and video quality and the cool addition of a flip screen means a perfect selfie, every time.

Camera €520
 Make-up

Kylie Cosmetics Valentines Collection

The girl with the midas touch released her Valentine's collection on Feb 2nd and, as with every Kylie Cosmetic, it sold out within minutes. There will be re-stocks before Valentines Day but act fast because they won't be there long!

Palette €50 (before shipping)
